Learning from the best local practices, explain the action of the state to modernize itself, identify existing skills and potential synergies, multiplying and exchanging views, these are the objectives of 1st Meeting Modernization of the State to be held in Lyon September 21, 2006. .
At the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Planning and the Directorate General for State Modernisation, these meetings are an important time of mobilization decentralized services of the State. Twenty projects and innovative experiments will be presented to illustrate concretely the modernization work in Rhone-Alpes.
Organised jointly by the regional prefect, the Paymaster General of Rhone-Alpes, the Ministry of Interior and Spatial Planning and the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Industry, these meetings bring together representatives of devolved government in Rhone-Alpes. All these actors operate daily on the ground to modernize their administration.
